He brought TED conferences to France in 2009 by creating the country’s first TEDx event: TEDxParis. He is an engineer, certified in scenario planning by Oxford’s Saïd Business School and by the Executive Program at Singularity University.
An entrepreneur since 1999, he has co-founded several startups in finance (Web-Bonds, acquired by Fininfo in 2001), media (Rue89, acquired by L’OBS in 2011), technology (Joshfire, acquired by HighCo in 2014), and consulting (Brightness).
He is also the author of several methodological essays and a regular columnist for Les Echos and BFM Business. He is a member of several international innovation communities, including TED, Singularity University, Thinkers50, House of Beautiful Business, ExO, and Boma.
Michel is recognized as one of the leading voices in France’s innovation ecosystem.
