The French Federation of Private Social Housing Companies (Fédération des Entreprises Sociales pour l’Habitat) represents 166 private-law social housing companies (ESH). As part of their public interest mission, the esh work alongside local authorities to provide tailored, adaptable and sustainable solutions to social housing needs.
ESH provide homes for 5 million people, managing a portfolio of more than 2 million housing units across mainland France and the French overseas departments. Each year, they deliver nearly two-thirds of all new social housing units,
